Body Element: A Journey Through Joint Mobility (Recorded 11/8)
Explore the structural connections in your body.
With our everyday life routines and challenges, we put stress on our muscles and develop stiffness in our joints, which affects our quality of movement. This class offers to loosen the tensions in your body through a series of low impact floor exercises focusing on joint mobility and the physical relationship between our different body parts. You will play with all your joints from your toes to your first vertebra, test your range of motion possibilities and explore the structural connections in your body.
All around dance geek with 11 years of burlesque experience, Coney Bow is a passionate dance and physical instructor. She has trained in body alignment, studied a Masters in dance and has completed a physical teacher diploma and a Pilates instructor certification. Coney has been running regular dance, cabaret and fitness classes since 2006 and has taught her workshops for Burlesque in New Zealand, Canada and Europe. She was nominated "Favorite Mentor" at the NZ Golden Garter Awards 2017.
