Tap into your body to serve powerful stage presence. Ideal for beginners, all levels welcome. Please wear clothing that you feel comfortable moving in.
About the Instructor
Kitty KaPowww
The kitten that cats prefer! Kitty KaPowww is San Francisco Bay Area born and raised. She is all things fierce, fat, femme, and feline.
Kitty started studying performance at the age of 10, and has a robust background in Theater Arts and Technical Theater. Kitty debuted her first burlesque act on stage before she could even drink at the bar. In the few years since she has found her strength as a producer.
She is now the Head Witch in Charge of Hex in the City Burlesque. Hex offers quarterly performances in iconic queer spaces featuring local LGBTQ+ and POC guest artists.
Kitty spends her days away from the stage working for Circus Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the mission to spread the joy of circus arts through performance, training, and outreach. She is also a Feminist, Queer, and Trans Studies major at San Francisco City College.
