About the Instructor

May Hemmer

"The Sassiest Thing in New Orleans" and the "Cocoa Barbie", she is a force all her own. With a larger-than-life personality, she has been gracing the stages with nerdlesque and much more since 2011. Her love of cosplay being the basis of her creativity, she's hitting the sewing machine hard to bring to life some of her favorite fandoms both on and off the stage.
