BURLYLAB: Tulled You So, Feather Fan Alternatives (Recorded 11/14)
Feathers for fans and headdresses can be homemade and vegan, don't say I didn't tulle you so!
Tulle has been used for vegan boas, and can be used for vegan fans as well. Students will learn to turn tulle and zip-ties into sparkly "feathers" ready to adorn a fan or headdress. Students will also learn pitfalls to avoid and primal ways to bedazzle the "feathers" to be stage-ready. Students are expected to be comfortable with hot glue and hand sewing.
This course is a BurlyCon BurlyLab.
